HOME AGAIN tells the story of a young soldier going to war, carrying with him a heartfelt promise to the one he loves. Aspiring to retell the experiences of earlier generations through the eyes of today’s youth, the DeeDee team crafted the film with a dramatic yet deeply emotional approach.
Created entirely using 2D hand-drawn animation, HOME AGAIN has been widely recognized for its artistic and narrative value, earning numerous prestigious awards.
At the 24th Vietnam Film Festival (2025), HOME AGAIN won three major awards in the Animation category:
🏆 Silver Lotus Award - Animated Film
🏆 Best Director - Kiet Doan
🏆 Best Animator - Trung Do
Continuing its success in 2026, the film was honored with the Silver Kite Award in the Animation category. These achievements firmly reinforce DeeDee’s creative excellence and production quality, earning strong recognition from industry professionals.
