From Germany and the UK to France, DeeDee Animation Studio continues to assert its role as a leading Vietnamese creative studio with the capacity to collaborate, connect, and contribute meaningfully to formal cultural and educational platforms on the global stage.

In October 2024, DeeDee was honored to collaborate with the Goethe-Institut – the cultural institution of the Federal Republic of Germany – as part of Kinofest, the Institute’s annual film festival celebrating contemporary German cinema across Southeast Asia. DeeDee’s CEO and Director, Hai Quang Dang, was invited as the moderator for the screening of The Adventure, one of only three animated films featured in the 2024 festival. With his extensive experience and sharp creative insights, Director Hai Quang guided the audience through the film’s visual structure, narrative flow, and storytelling artistry, sparking a vibrant and emotional discussion inside the theater.

In early 2025, DeeDee expanded its presence in the educational sector by joining the Visiting Senior Fellow of Practice initiative launched by British University Vietnam (BUV). This program invites top industry leaders to teach and mentor students in a university setting. As one of the few representatives from the creative industry among a distinguished cohort of executives spanning finance, technology, law, and communications, DeeDee contributes to bringing Vietnamese animation and storytelling closer to international educators and students. The event was hosted by Mr. Marcus Winsley, Deputy Ambassador of the United Kingdom, and Professor Rick Bennett, Deputy Vice-Chancellor and Vice President of RMIT University, at the British Ambassador’s Residence.

Most recently, on May 26th, 2025, Ms. Le Quynh Nhu – Co-Founder and Studio Manager at DeeDee – was invited to a formal diplomatic luncheon with Ms. Rachida Dati, the French Minister of Culture. Held at the five-star Pan Pacific Hanoi, the event welcomed key stakeholders in Vietnam’s audiovisual and creative industries and took place during the official state visit of French President Emmanuel Macron to Vietnam. During the meeting, Minister Dati and other French delegates expressed great interest and surprise at Ms. Nhu’s presentation on DeeDee’s projects. Their enthusiastic response included positive signals toward enhanced support from the French Embassy for DeeDee’s future initiatives. Being invited to such a high-level diplomatic event marks a clear recognition from international institutions of DeeDee’s credibility and growing influence within Vietnam’s cultural and creative sectors.
