“Home Again” Wrap Party & Screening: Ending of a Meaningful Journey

On October 31, the wrap party and internal screening of the short film Home Again took place in a cozy atmosphere with the entire DeeDee team. This marked an important milestone for one of the studio’s most significant IPs of 2025.

From the first drafted idea to the final completed film, Home Again went through numerous changes and faced countless challenges. Yet, these very obstacles shaped the project into a memorable creative journey, one that brought DeeDee members closer, offered a playground for experimentation, and created a safe zone for many first-timers. As Director Đoàn Anh Kiệt shared, Home Again is a project where “everyone in the studio had the chance to try new tasks, take on new roles, and do things they had never done before.”

After the director’s remarks, the entire studio gathered to watch the completed film together for the very first time, reflecting on months of dedication and teamwork. The room fell silent as everyone focused intently on each frame and movement. As one attendee shared, “I’ve watched Home Again so many times, yet everytime, it still moves me.”

The screening was followed by waves of laughter when the team watched the Behind the Scenes video, “The Journey of Home Again.” It was a chance to relive the entire production journey. from concentrated moments of designing and animating to the hilarious incidents only insiders understand. Many members shared behind-the-scenes stories and personal reflections that had never been told before.

A film as moving as Home Again naturally inspired countless beautiful fan-art pieces. A segment of the event was dedicated to showcasing these artworks and presenting awards based on online voting. The energy in the room rose even higher when everyone cast their live votes for the Most Favorite Scene, creating a lively and joyful moment of connection.

The event closed the filmmaking journey, but opening a new one as Home Again officially prepares to make its way to audiences and film festivals.
