Another DeeDee project made it to VTV3 Morning Coffee News

Recently, DeeDee Animation Studio’s animated projects and films have continued to gain attention from national press and television media. Following the feature of the short film Home Again on VTV3 Morning Coffee, DeeDee’s upcoming project Hoang Thi The was also highlighted on the program, accompanied by behind-the-scenes insights shared by the production team.
Morning Coffee is a daily entertainment and news program broadcast on VTV3 at 6:30 AM, featuring a wide range of stories surrounding culture, art, and notable trends.
In April 2026, DeeDee Animation Studio, alongside director Nguyen Hong Quan and production representative Doan Anh Kiet, was honored to appear on the program to share more about Hoang Thi The: Fate & Destiny - an animated documentary IP project collaboratively developed by DeeDee and Avalook.
Inspired by a real historical figure, Hoang Thi The: Fate & Destiny presents many challenges in recreating the settings, historical materials, and spirit of the era. During the interview, director Nguyen Hong Quan and artist Doan Anh Kiet shared more about the project’s development process, as well as how the team approached historical storytelling through the language of animation.
Allowing audiences to truly connect with a character is not only a challenge for animation, but for filmmaking as a whole.
Doan Anh Kiet shared his thoughts on the challenges of creating a film based on a real historical figure.
Using the language of animation in this project opens up more space for the audience to imagine and piece together their own perception of the character.

Although only its first teaser has been released, the project has already received positive responses from animation enthusiasts and audiences interested in works inspired by Vietnamese culture.

Previously last year, in late 2025, the VTV3 Morning Coffee team has also visited DeeDee Animation Studio to produce a feature on the short film Home Again after it won the Silver Lotus Award at the 2025 Vietnam Film Festival.
Currently, Hoang Thi The: Fate & Destiny is entering the pre-production stage, while the short film Home Again is continuing its journey through upcoming international film festivals.
