On September 10, 2023, the Book Launch Event and the Talkshow: "Is Animation Only for Kids?" hosted by DeeDee Animation Studio came to a close with a whirlwind of emotions. This was DeeDee Animation Studio's first offline event, celebrating the release of our first book that was created with passion.
During the event's first part, the co-author of the book shared insights and stories about book writing. We also heard from guest speakers who provided valuable perspectives on the Vietnamese animation industry.
After a refreshing tea break and exploring the book display, the audience got hands-on, creating Thaumatropes, a simple animation toy dating back centuries, in the event's second part. Then, speaker Hoang Huy Ha hosted a lively discussion with the audience, challenging the misunderstanding of "Is animation only for kids?".
