Names like Disney, Marvel, and DC have long become global icons of the animation and entertainment industry, deeply tied to the childhoods and imaginations of millions of audiences worldwide.

For DeeDee Animation Studio, the journey from being fans to directly animating characters from these three industry giants is not only a memorable career milestone, but also a significant marker that affirms the studio’s growing capabilities and increasingly solid position in the international market.

1. Disney

  • Project Title: CAMP X DISNEY'S MICKEY & FRIENDS

  • Format: Short video, commercial

  • Client: Duncan Studio

  • Production Year: 2023

  • DeeDee’s Scope of Work: Animation

In 2023, DeeDee was entrusted by Duncan Studio for the first time to handle the animation of a Disney project.

CAMP x Disney Mickey & Friends is a promotional campaign for an interactive experience space designed for children, blending the concept of Camp with the world of Disney characters.

The project provided DeeDee with a valuable opportunity to directly access and learn the animation production standards of a leading brand like Disney, under the guidance of industry veterans Ken Duncan and Chris Sauve.

Through this experience, the team contributed to bringing vibrant motion to beloved characters such as Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, Daisy Duck, Goofy, and Pluto.

  • Project Title: Mickey & Friends Seoul Tour

  • Format: Short video, commercial, music video

  • Client: Duncan Studio

  • Production Year: 2024

  • DeeDee’s Scope of Work: Animation

Following the success of the previous project, DeeDee was once again selected by Duncan Studio to collaborate on Mickey & Friends Seoul Tour. With accumulated experience and a deeper understanding of Disney character animation, the team approached this new project with greater confidence and an increasingly refined workflow.

Mickey & Friends Seoul Tour is a campaign by Disney Korea celebrating the 96th anniversary of Mickey Mouse. The project creates a space where history and pop culture intersect, honoring Mickey’s enduring appeal while showcasing the beauty of Korean culture.

The characters were vividly animated over live-action footage filmed at iconic locations, bringing a stronger sense of connection to younger audiences. In addition to short-form social media content, the characters animated by DeeDee also appeared in a music video featuring K-pop star Lee Suhyun.

By 2025, the Disney character content produced by DeeDee continued to be featured on LED advertising screens across Hong Kong, as well as on official merchandise—demonstrating the project’s lasting impact and longevity.

2. DC

  • Project Title: DC's Justice League: Cosmic Chaos

  • Format: Game

  • Client: PHL Collective

  • Production Year: 2022

  • DeeDee’s Scope of Work: Character Design, Background Art, Animation, FX

Justice League: Cosmic Chaos is a game that brings together some of DC’s most iconic superheroes, including Batman, Wonder Woman, Superman, The Flash, and many more.

In this project, DeeDee Animation Studio was responsible for producing all cutscenes in 2D animation format.

The playful and stylized animation sequences are woven throughout the game, helping to build the narrative while enhancing its appeal and sparking players’ curiosity for upcoming levels.

By handling everything from character design and background art to animation, DeeDee was able to fully showcase its creative capabilities, while still staying true to the game’s visual style, each superhero’s distinct personality, and their signature gestures and actions.

3. Marvel

  • Project Title: Meet the Fantastic Four

  • Format: Episodic series

  • Client: Duncan Studio

  • Production Year: 2025

  • DeeDee’s Scope of Work: Character Design, Background Art, Animation, FX

In 2025, another major milestone was achieved as DeeDee successfully produced two mini-series for Marvel HQ—one of Marvel’s official YouTube channels.

Continuing its collaboration with Duncan Studio, the Meet the Fantastic Four series launched with 10 episodes, with the highest-performing episode reaching 3.6 million views.

This mini-series is part of the promotional campaign for the feature film Fantastic Four: First Steps, released globally in July 2025. The series serves as a launchpad, helping audiences get to know—or reconnect with—the characters and their powers.

At the same time, choosing a 2D animation format instead of relying solely on traditional live-action trailers adds a fresh layer of appeal, reigniting excitement among both new viewers and long-time fans.

  • Project Title: Holiday Heroes

  • Format: Episodic series

  • Client: Duncan Studio

  • Production Year: 2025

  • DeeDee’s Scope of Work: Character Design, Background Art, Animation, FX

In parallel with Meet the Fantastic Four, DeeDee Animation Studio also produced another mini-series for Marvel HQ titled Holiday Heroes.

This special series revolves around celebrations throughout the year, with episodes released in sync with each occasion—serving as a festive greeting to audiences while offering a fun and refreshing take on how superheroes celebrate holidays.

The series goes beyond the four members of the Fantastic Four, expanding to feature a wider range of characters from the Marvel universe. This not only adds excitement for audiences but also serves as a strong source of creative inspiration for DeeDee’s team, as artists and animators have the opportunity to work directly with the superheroes they admire.

Through collaborations with industry giants like Disney, Marvel, and DC, DeeDee Animation Studio has built extensive experience and adopted international-standard production pipelines.

Let DeeDee be your partner in bringing creative ideas to life!
