Inktober 2024: At DeeDee, everyone creates

Every October, the Inktober challenge inspires millions of artists worldwide. For 31 days straight, they persistently create one artwork a day, turning the challenge into a journey of discipline and self-discovery.

Keeping the spirit of annual Inktober, this year DeeDee has transformed it into an even more creative challenge—expanding beyond limits in themes, materials and, most importantly, welcoming everyone, embracing creators of all backgrounds, not just artists.

DeeDee’s Inktober 2024 welcomed creations in all art forms

2024 Inktober’s submissions weren’t just drawings - we’ve also received intricate crochet pieces, creatively crafted clay sculptures, striking artistic photographs... Literally anyone could participate because “Inktober” at DeeDee wasn’t about finding the best artwork; it was about embarking on a journey of exploration and creative growth.

The challenge brought together 44 DeeDee members, contributing hundreds of artworks throughout the month. Every sketch, every stitch, every frame was a step forward. What mattered wasn’t how perfect your work was but the fact that today, you created more than yesterday—and tomorrow, you’ll push yourself even further. Creativity isn’t just about making something new; it’s about renewing yourself. That’s the spirit DeeDee embraces!

The challenge was well received at both DeeDee's Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City studios

At the end of the month, all artworks were displayed right in the studio, transforming the workspace into a mini-exhibition. This was not only an opportunity to reflect on each individual’s journey but also a moment to recognize dedication, celebrate breakthroughs, and honor the talent within DeeDee. No matter the size or complexity, every creation was a testament to persistence and the boundless nature of creativity. DeeDee also prepared small gifts for those who completed the challenge throughout the entire month! 👏
